Wishes

Wishes are hopes of dreams to come true ,
On stars, four leaf clovers, wish bones pulled by two.
Blown out birthday candles, closed eyes when we wish,
Makes us happy in thought, when we make our wish lists.
A hair from our eye lash, pressed by finger or thumb,
If you guess the right finger, it means wishes won.
Blown out dandelions, done with mouths,
Our wishes made first, came true with no doubts.
Railroad track crossings, touched fingers to screws,
Our feet off the floor make the wishes all new.
Crossed fingers under bridges, we wish for good luck,
That our bikes or our cars, don't get hit by big trucks.
Make a wish everyday and make them for you,
It's fun to make wishes and see them come true .
