Poem Artwork

When I awoke in strange dimensions
At first I knew not  the intentions
Then came the display

I walked through wondrous worlds of gold
In which the bright  lights took control
That kept the darkness at bay

The rainbow of rationality hovered over me

Neutrons of new beginnings my energy

An example of awesome power that is to be

Such amazing events on the horizon

Many let obstacles stop their journey

In fear of  some unknown mystery

Yes there are many realms  to come

Whose ways are black enough to numb

And try to keep us from the "Way"

That hour when molten matter descends

Destructive forces converge to rend

Earth turned unto ashes gray

Time comes, universe will shed some skin

The race once known as human will thin

Heralding the perfect day

etw

Very well written, Poet! Perhaps it would be a good thing if humankind were thinned! We've thinned all other kinds, haven't we?

It is unfathomable seeing something so distant--so unknown--we can only dream.

universe will shed some skin

absolutely, I believe this. how it will happen or when or what it'll all truly be like, who knows, but we cannot allow fear of the unknown to cause us to shut our eyes to the forces already set in motion by our loving Creator who is always in the business of redemption. Dawn

Sounds almost Apocalyptic Eileen. I hate to think that it will take another "Great Flood" to cleanse this earth and the souls that dwell within it.

This is quite a poem, Tiger Lily, and I often wonder these days if this time now draws quite near.

Goodness, this has the da Vinci fingertip lightnin streak about it, Eileen! Spiritual and metaphysical intertwinings engage the mind in a spiral upwards and outwards into unknown realms... we is on de same page aujourd hui. ADORE that last stanza! Can relate to turning to dust and ashes... LOL Kate xx

Eileen, your writes that bring about the detail of our origins are outstanding. I feel as if I have been on a journey through time and space. Wonderful

We live in a world of parallel dimensions and universes, which sometimes overlap in mysterious and fascinating ways, all with a designated purpose and design...just like a dream that drifts obliquely in and out of our conscious and subconcious...
You desribe such a scenario here expertly Eileen
With a fascinating picture to undeline it all

It is difficult to believe that we will be delivered to a realm that is even more beautiful than this one, but in my heart I know it will be so. I wonder if I will long for the mountains and the waterfalls that grace this amazing earth when I go to the next place of if in wonderment I will walk, awe stricken by that which I could have never imagined. Your images paint such a delightful picture where light of every hue is the power and the force that rules. God is light and in his kingdom, light must prevail. I have only a couple real question about what the next level shall bring and they are "will I be beautiful and will I be thin?" ;) Wonderful write, Eileen! Loved your short-story about "Lonely." I hope Ed K. reads it, it will bring a smile to his face.
Take care,
Sherry
