I come to you in innocence
How you use me is your choice

Godly=Agape--Friendly=Philo-
Amatory=Erotic-- Self=Narcissm

I am a giver,always available
Some hide me,use me stingily
Use me too much, or not at all

You may decide to show me
Too little , too extreme
Or some where in-between

My ways have been abused
Especially with, amatory
And self -love
There is a  fine line
Between love and lust

Lust thirsts after power
Whether it be sexual
Monetary,materialistic
Egotistical, or the like
Love does none of that

In all forms I am usually
Underplayed or overplayed
Though moderate love is
As useless as tepid water

It is rare when one gets it right
Those who  do, think  first
Of others, before themselves

True love is unselfish/unconditional
Not very easy to accomplish
It takes divine intervention

Freely given by Creator
If His example isn't followed
It can't be successful
