I see past the distant shore to new and everlasting waters they beckon me to prepare they say I will soon be there my heart quickens its pace
for many nights I've felt this the moon shines over the waters the stars twinkle on the ripples colors pouring down like a rainbow i'm embraced in its lovely glow
such beauty is beyond compare wind blows gentle through my hair I feel like i'm skimming over waves until i'm airborn and ascending to heavens happy elysian ending

A wonderful classic write. There are poets who spend a sleepless night fetching for words to create a poem and the poem never comes. There are also those who pick the pen and write the best poem ever. I have no doubt, eileen that you belong to the latter group. GBQ

Reminds me of CS Lewis and The Dawntreader. Also of the alluring phosphorescence that can linger over water sometimes.
