I am always amazed how we relate to water, stars and roses. I suppose the soothing effects of water may be because we are mostly water ourselves, though our water is for the most part contained. To observe and take in the freedom of flowing water or tides, bathes our soul and your poem did for me this morning. This is an exquisit write, Eileen. A beauty to save and savor when the trying times in life grab hold and shake us from our tranquility.
