"Cross-stitched in mixed messages" says it about right, Eileen. Life can definitely turn us in different directions over the course of our lives and yet, life, itself, is so beautiful. Brilliant write.
Tye dyed and bushey tailed write from the 70's to now complete. I can appreciate this time-line verse since I'm a daughter of the 70's.

Ah, Eileen, if I were a horror writer (some thing all my novels are a horror LOL) this is the gem of a premise for a plot, something out of Twilight Zone. Since I don't write horror (really) I can only say that you have come up with a fantastic idea for poetry. Good reading.
