Daddy doing better, had fluid in his lungs, had to get three pints of blood to combat anemia, he said he had his oil changed. :) To hear him joking shows he's improving. Thanks for the prayers, keep them coming!

Mmmmm.. can relate to this one, Eileen. "Like slumber after fits". To me, knowing of the devastating health issues you wrestle with, this is the most wonderful personification of Peace. So beautiful when that depth of refreshment comes to body, mind and spirit. Having read your other poems, I am so sorry that you battle the symptoms of Lupus daily. As I think you know, this autoimmune disease almost killed me back in 1990 because it was undiagnosed and totally out of control. It is still very rare over here, and I find it amazing that we should both share this uncommon ailment. I am glad that you are being so closely monitored and pray that you will know the full level of healing that I have been blessed myself to experience - I fully appreciate how "lucky" I am. Praying for your health and wholeness in every dimension so that the restorative sentiments you so delicately express here might be a sustained reality for you from this day on. As you well know, rest is everything, right? But also as I know you must know, almost impossible to take! :)) Be good to yourself. LOL and prayers, Kate xx
