Pic Another Tahoe Sunset
Midi Breads-I would give everything I own "just to have you by my side"

~~**~~

Through hazy mist of suns blister
eyes can only  see lake
as one solid mirror

shimmering stillness mesmerizes
lips beg tongue for moistenening

silence only broken by wind sounds
softly a breeze caresses me
i love it and think of your touch
wandering inside of me

sing for me a melody L'Amour
take me to dreams distant shore

finally sun descends, heat ends
but thoughts of you still burn
i yearn for your lips and
your hips over mine

Dang you, Eileen, you just raised the temperatures here (as if isn't already hot enough! LOL)! Very well penned; think I'll take a cold shower now....*grins*

And what a shimmering you do bring to the reader, Lady E!

It transfixes the heart.....which is mirrored by your pen.

Altogether, LOVELY.

I gazed at the pic for ages mesmerised.
Very tranquil poem. Tahoe sounds indian. They must have really appreciated

A scene like that could make me forget that mosquitos are sucking the life out of me. I've been fortunate to see scenes like that in real life. Something not so easy to do in between a 40 hour work week.

Breathtakingly beautiful poem...
You have got me yearning for Lake Tahoe now...:)
Listen out for them haunting loons at night...

This is stunning as usual. You are the most prophetic voice here at the Den. Anointing on your life of Holiness that the carnal eye doesn't see is breathtaking....
