Poem Artwork

All was silent, all appeared unclear
There was barely a whisper in the air

Fog covered everything  in stillness
The shadows made you have to guess

You embraced this time for it gave to you
A rest from things you otherwise had to do

In soft gray mist you slipped into anonimity
Hidden away from those who want to see

If you are there or somewhere very far
Doing your chores or dreaming on a star

This quiescent time you could rest in peace
Not have to be accountable without cease

Thanking the elements for a break in routine
You get ready to enjoy all that's unseen

Ah yes... How I like most to be ... totally invisible! :)) These days are so few and far between... unhustled by time or agenda or people with their varying demands... This sounds to me like my perfect Dream Duvet Day, dear Eileen! ENJOY!!

BTW.... ANONIMITY, thnx, one of those words I have probs with..lol

The pic could be a place in England. And without the sun, even more so....

Fog is like natures gift wrapping. Like Christmas morning, slowly pull away the mist to see the present on the other side. A most srene and beautiful poem!

Fog and Mist can truly be wondrous things to behold, if only we have the right mindset, and a sense of adventure. I really like this piece, Tiger Lily, and now, you've made me long for fog and mist.

Such serenity ET...you immediately took me there and to a place I really need to find right now. It wondrous when words can wash over you like mist and refresh and relax. I'm glad I found a moment to read today. TY.
