Thank you sounds trite at times like these, but I say it with deep appreciation for all of your generous, and encouraging comments! They have sustained me over many years!
Bless you all!

Poem Artwork

I wade through the murky waters
of a dreamscape tingling with
anticipation and fear

Fear of the unknown and hope that
something new and exciting will
soon be appearing

The waters begin circling, changing
colors to purple,green,orange,pink
more vivid while gaining force

I boldly shoot up out of the water
and shout "What's going on?"
To which i hear the wind roar

Then brilliant sunlight surrounds me in
a vortex,it pulls me upwards,and
I hear a choir of angelic voices

Saying,"Welcome to heaven,where you
can be whatever you choose to be,
after which you will be questioned,as
to why you made the choice you did

Unfortunately, I awake then,feeling
that it had all been real, wishing I
knew what I had chosen...

Eileen, in your dreamscape you visit Heaven, and what more can there be -- you are a very talented poet, a wonderful woman and an inspiration -- a source of spiritual solace for all of us -- peace and love my dear friend -- Jon Michael

I dislike those dreams that one never seem to get to see the end
They could at least have a TO BE CONTINUED before the end, or maybe some previews of what's next :)
Wonderful write, I enjoyed it
Have a great day

Nicely painted chum. Your mind, and ability to dream and create - I've come to learn over the last three years - is like the whispering wind and the droplets of morning dew in the trees of your life.
"I boldly shoot up out of the water" ... never stop!
Blessings ...

Gorgeous imagery. However, I must caution you that this poem could make Freud blush.

Could it be the choice is yet to be made, and if revealed in the dream...maybe, just maybe...YOUR choice would be influenced? A very interesting dream in this work, Eileen. (mine are usually quirky :o)

You were guided by the hand of a friend on a secret path where no fear can enter and no doubts will ever get. You did have, precious you, a "film" trail of your future, it wasn't a dream, Someone was showing you what to expect...

All in good time they say. Perhaps there is a reason why the answer has not come. Goodness, almost philosophical, what a splendid write...

Ahhhhgh, hate it when that happens, wake up with WHAT DID I DO? An excellent write, Eileen, stunning imagery and lines that beg the reader to wonder at the conclusion. Well done. (And it is I who should be thanking YOU for your unending support of my words. So, thank you.)

(((HUGS))) and love, Karla.

Aha! I always knew you didn't belong here, you had been misplaced, and now you are trying to find your way home in dreams, you'll find the way, it will come in the moment another portal opens, wake or dreaming, that's when you'll remember the answer, until then relax, it will all happen naturally. Go back to bed. Do not pass GO! Do not collect $100.00! Go to sleep and conjure up the same dream. Do you understand that you, out of the billions who have walked the face of this sorry old world may hole the key to the beyond? GO BACK TO BED AND DREAM DARN IT!!!!!
