You're amazing, Eileen. And at least you can still smile and bear all with grace, faith and fortitude - as is your wont. Of course we will all be preparing your way through love and prayer and hopeful of the surgery's successful outcome. Resiliance and a great attitude (which you have in spade-loads) is health and healing to the whole person, so we know that you will never be far away and will look forward to seeing you here as and when you can - and even more to having you back fully restored just as soon as possible. You take care of you and tell your eyes to be nice to each other! xxx

This must be the year for eyes, my friend just had both done with laser surgery, and what a sight it was to see him in nearly black glasses, let me tell you, if an ornary scotsman can withstand this, so can you. Now, as far as his sight goes, I don't know, but he says, he's feeling much better, and that's something, for a guy that failed the management compassion test at 42 percent ha. I have no eye problems yet, I can still threat a needle, if I can find the needle, anyway dear Girl, they do heart operations in five minutes now, the eyes should not take that long they are much smaller. Coincidentally, my opthamologist has just put me on a six month waiting list for eye surgery. I've had several eye operations over the years and this one is for a cataract so it is not as serious. I do pray and wish for your surgery to be successful, Eileen. Love and best wishes,

I do not find it ironic or coincidental that the two most visionary people here on the den are suffering from eye problems. Sometimes the ones that see the clearest have the worst vision...
