Your first kiss
The wonder,

Perhaps the bliss?
Two hearts pounding
As lips embraced
The intimacy that comes
When you're face to face
Whether child or teen,
Or Young adult
Or all grown up
The memory invokes
Memories ranging
From shock to lust
Or the beginnings of love
With its roots in trust
A lifetime's journey
Or a nights romp in bed
From a single first kiss
It all began.
An interesting question, one that I have asked myself (and have written about) and others. Interestingly enough, some people don't remember their so-called first kiss I was surprised to learn, in some ways perhaps the most memorable.
