“There's no prerequisites to worthiness. You're born worthy,
and I think that's a message a lot of women need to hear.”
Viola Davis

Poem Artwork

Kiss me until I forget
All those who swore
I would never find you,
Who said no one worth knowing
Would want me,
Who did not believe
I could be loved
By a good man,
And who led me
To believe
I am a failure
A a woman.
Kiss me so I never forget
They were wrong,
That I am wanted,
That I can be loved,
That I am a naturally
Beautiful woman
Worth knowing.
Kiss me just because
They are simply
Full of shit.

Okies, behind the bikeshed after skool.

I can see why the windows steamed up.
This poem could blow my hard………………..drive.

I like the last line. Especially in places like bars, men are truly full of shit. However, if you seek love in a church, you have about a 50-50 chance of getting someone truthfully in love with you and the other half will still be full of shit.

Amen to that. An empowering poem and Viola is right.
