Funny, I have a daughter who you could have written this about. She has no feeling towards others. In her eyes, the only person who needs a shoulder, a friend, a crying towel is herself. She can feel her own pain but can not see what she causes others. I will be there to help her up but I will not be the punching bag like so many others in her life. That line, I refuse to stand in. Sad, to love someone who loves only themselves is a lonely shadow to stand behind. Great piece George, I felt this one.
Way to go George, if that's what makes you happy...this world today is so full of treachery it's hard to make new friends,so keep what we have if we can...
