Primal Remembrances In Honor Of My Cherokee Ancestors
In fragrant forest deep on moonlit night before we sleep we rise in flight above tall cedars on spirit wings and hear the song the mountain sings.
Beside the brook on soft deer skin we tenderly touch and dream again We soar like eagles. With wolves we sprint golden eyes reflecting a wild, wise glint.
We hunt with cougar and frolic with deer. Swim the great river as we hold each other near. Moons have passed Many suns have yet to rise. Tonight I dwell in the world of your eyes.
