still the dog star burns white hot
behind the distant dark veil
and opens the door of infinity
awakening the gods of the air
there will be rain now
yes Sirius burns and stirs the blood
of common mortals and kings
with the heat of a hundred suns
the soul of Isis shines as she
enters the temple of understanding
while sacred waters overflow
the prison of their banks
I yearn, I burn for the taste
of your flesh among the river rushes
drink with me the dregs of lotus wine
let us forget all else but life’s doorway
Sirius beckons us to take flight
emerging from behind the dense obstacles
which have long hidden the fire of desire
you will live again Osiris, with only a kiss
your resurrection is assured
with the perfume of her garments inhaled
with the heat of her emergence
you will live again and love more perfectly
when Isis once again enters the temple
where she shines with the light of life
there will be rain now

when the solstice is passed
and Sirius uncovers his path once more
when she has found you and held you
and love has pieced you together again

... Belle, this is stunning work. Such strength and conviction here and such gestalt in the build towards the confidence of your conclusion. Love the tone and the change of poetic styling, of which you are equally master. You set such a regal and empowered atmosphere which can only come from the sense of deep inner conviction and deep trust in both your knowledge of the Beloved and in the natural and metaphysical forces sorrounding your joint destinys. To believe in the future when the future has been halted for whatever reason is the true meaning of love and un unbridled passion. This poem gives the reader a sense of true meaning and powere to look toward a future light and resurrection and THAT, my friend is worth the nail-biting it took to compose this masterpiece . . .
Portrayal of artistic vision! Furnished you with the inspiration and you bring us the Light...you did us proud on this one, La Belle...a little communication and a warm message from one another furnishes our quills with collective excitement which becomes tangible in art, history, and writing. You Will Live Again Osiris is a scene for pharaohs and pharaohesses...this paints a quartzite statue scene of Ancient Egyptian life navigated by Sirius, the Dog Star...you've unleashed a creative piece which gives rise to tracing a glorious Egyptian past...the beloved Dog Star shines on...one can't erase a romantic/erotic writer's quill nor a pharaohs legacy...
