Art "Snow, What Snow?"
By Jesse Ghere Feather

Spirit Of Eagle, Spirit Of Fox
By La Belle Rouge

on clouds of white i soar
and watch the sun reflected
across the flowing river
above the blue mountains
i fly on eagle wings of healing
close to the heart of yowah
who gives wisdom and power
my cries of freedom sound
above the song of the waters
falling over the high rocks

but when night has covered
the forests with a dark cape
it’s then you will discover
my tiny footprints in the snow
and in winter’s blue moonlight
catch only a glimpse of red fur
swift and dainty are my paws
cunning are the ways of a fox
shapeshifting to fit perfectly
into the den of your dreams

Music "Visions"

The eagles were together up in the sky feeling the warm of the Great Spirit touching their feathers, by night the fox should be wary of a lone wolf stung by solitude...

Stunningly imaged and penned, the vision comes alive. Beautiful, La Belle. Short, but powerful in its impact.

The imagery is majestic. It took my breath away, and conjured many wonderfully cathartic images.

God bless you. Kathy

both defined beautifully, last two lines are quite foxy i think - and now to waffle - i had a little drink while in New York Village on the Green - A Gallant Fox - house infused cedar bourbon, maple syrup, sour cherry and a chile rim - and tried to explain to the sweet bar person that sour cherry and a chile rim didn´t sound so appetising where i come from...oh nevermind...some things just don´t translate - whereas your poem, earth and sky, made sense to me - thanks Belle, love, Nicky xx
