A Message From Your Mooo-se
By La Belle Rouge

I hate to see you all cow-ered down
so I thought I’d just come on around
since you feel you’re out to pasture now
to remind you that’s just bull somehow

you got plenty fodder to chew on dear
your mooo-se is here so have no fear
poetical corn and editorial hay….hay
you’re gonna live to write another day

you always like it when I dance for you
without a mooo-se, Baby what would you do
you want to think that you are in control
but you know your mooo-se adds all the soul

When I work you hard you whine and cry
can’t eat or sleep and think you just might die
then you whine and cry when I stay away
and moan “my mooo-se is still gone today”

So take that thinking cap off the shelf
you expect me to write it all by myself?
the udder truth is without me you're done
pick that pen up and let’s have some fun

write a sonnet ‘bout a moonlit farm
how it smells like “Evening In The Barn”
embrace your mooo-se and it’ll be alright
don’t throw another pity party tonight
