Banish The Snakes And Roast The Hogs

Tha Snakes they still slither all over our land
and not to be found is even one brave man
who’ll banish all serpents far from our fair shore
so none of us gets snake-bit anymore


For there be many fat hogs who yet wander at will
and from honest citizens they plunder and steal


Just glutting themselves on much misgotten gain
while causing the poor men such deep want and pain
this ‘tis the time now, though our poor minds it bogs,
to banish all slick snakes and roast portly hogs


Dear St Patty they say, rid ole Erin of snakes
and we need a few more saints who’ve got what it takes


To step on tha serpents and butcher tha hogs
and run away devious egg suckin dogs
at the end of tha rainbow, there’s a pot a pure gold
but tha poor ones nere see, it if tha truth should be told


Tha dishonest donkeys heehaw and kick with their might
while fat elephants sit blockin tha path day and night


Old soldiers are dyin as millionaires grow
and where this will all end nobody can know
for tha end of the rainbow seems too far away
so the sage leprechauns say “ just do it today”


Skin and banish tha serpents and roast all tha fat hogs
with some hot barbeque sauce over huge hickory logs

Hear ‘em scream like a banshee on a haunted midnight
oust all snakes and foul swine so tha rainbow shines bright
