Joy To The World

Through broken hearts and tears
overwhelming sorrow, justified fears
look away as those who do not sorrow
without hope, remember Bethlehem
the crude manger that cradled Him
the Hope Of All Mankind, The Christ
Remember Jerusalem, cross and tomb
Think of Bethany and his eternal promise
of our prepared place, where He waits
Though we weep with those who weep
Innocence lives on, though we may not
glimpse, touch or hear it as we once did
It does not mean that it is dead or gone
Cease from all futile questions where is
found no earthly answers, logical reasons
Let your hearts discover peace in knowing
the universe is not out of control, only
experiencing frequent, hard pangs of labor
before the birth of His visible kingdom
Joy to the World the Lord has... will come
