Poets Are The Princes Poets are the princes The seers, the sages Ichor of the Gods, flowing Across their pages Poets are the roses In a world of thorns Collected through dark nights The dew drops of their morns Poets are a true treasure Gifted to all mankind To touch the core of emotions And stimulate the mind Poets are the angels Guardians of creation Worshipping nature's beauty Without pretense or cessation Poets are the lovers In a world gone mad with hate Hearts upon their sleeves Passion that can't wait Poets are the soldiers Who march to different drums Fighting for a new world Grieving til it comes Poets are the princes Monarchs without a throne Pouring out their truth Living and dying alone

Lofty posts all are these you have attributed to poets. Deep within the heart and soul of romantics and lovers there exists a niche where a poet can flourish when inspired. I enjoy your romantic interpretation of poets

From the Princess of poetry. You have elevated poetry with this expos� that I didn't know existed. I write poetry merely to express myself. Hopefully, better as a result. But you have given me another title� Prince. I really do doubt as I write poetry that I deserve such an accolade.
