After writing "Act One" I knew it was just a matter of time......

Poem Artwork

Act Two

The curtain of clouds slowly part signaling “Act Two” has begun

Grab a seat, you’re in for a treat as slowly this vast stage widens

A glimmer here, a sparkle there, a crescent moon lights the way

But stands aside for heaven’s gems as each new star begins a ballet

Intensity grows with each moment, look, so many colors appear

Sparkles glisten on angel’s wings regaling this nightly premiere

The dance on high is slow and serene and every diamond holds a story

As each soul vies for attention, shining in their moment of glory

The splendor in this nocturnal scene is designed to relax and sedate

The pace is slow, just let go, life’s troubles and trials can wait

Peace in knowing a new day will come, restfulness can not be denied

Smile and just close your eyes, reveling in this natural high

Your natural high is coming through in this poem most beautifully!

Between the imagery of your words and the corresponding picture, you have captured the peacefulness of night, the stars twinkling, the angels shining their light on us, and the knowledge that tomorrow will, indeed, behold a new adventure. Incredible! I love your insight, but then you do know what floats my boat. lol

I love you. God bless you. Kathy

Sometime, looking at the sky, when God kind of shuffle the shining marbles, he will lose a couple that will come straking like that final quill stroke under His signature.
