In the mist of morning
From the sky with no warning
Twin towers were attacked
From out of the blue
The purpose is clear
To bring terror near
To the heart of a nation
That knows not what to do.
We're all staring in awe
At the destruction we saw
By planes that were hijacked
We're not sure by who.
We must now pass a test
And show all of the rest
Of the world's nations
That we now know what to do.
Tuesday Morning
We'll be mourning
This horrible tragedy
A new day of infamy.
Tuesday mourning
Attacked without warning
An unknown defiant
Awakened a giant.

We Are All New Yorkers...
The prayers and wishes of the Shaurette Family are with everyone who live in New York or D.C. and have family there. As we mourn the horrible loss of life we witnessed September 11th, we look to the brave souls that are risking their lives to help their fellow Americans. For the rest of us away from the East coast, we pledge to give of ourselves, our blood, our spare change, our time, to you.
