Private thoughts of love

Poem Artwork

A neverending love scene in motion, our hearts on fire to know each others touch

My soul cries out to hear the words of love buried deep within his subconscious intellect

Mind to pen, pen to paper, words voice hidden desire, silence echoes through the telephone . . . he hangs up

Tears falling every minute we're apart, the timeless hourglass sifts my life away as I sit waiting in an orchestra of feelings, a symphony of daydreams and nightdreams

Wishing stars shining all around, the amber sun has gone, I drift off to sleep and find myself next to his soul, his heart... within his embrace of longed for love

He’s in my heart, my dreams, my soul, my thoughts forevermore lingering until that long awaited day when my fondest wish comes true

The unspoken words of the heart - your heart - this is a gift to share with others. You have a God given gift.

They say true love comes once in a lifetime, but I tend to believe they are wrong. I had 2 loves but the second was the best. The first divorced my for his own reasons, not mine. THe second died.
So now I feel no more sickness to look after in a mate, so really not looking. More power to you if your find yours and be happy.

What a sweet piece! It just kind of whisks the reader away. Very nice.
