"Ecstasy for Eternity"

The sun was setting,
the brilliant colors were intensifying
the complexity of the impending storm.

Walking aimlessly along the shoreline
trying to capture the sunset on film.
This storm was far more beautiful to behold.


Each moment brought the storm closer
it was at the point of no return
that I saw him.

He wore a white flowing shirt
and dark knee length trousers
his hair blowing in the wind.

I was mesmerized by his beauty,
his confident walk
and his arrogant smile.

I knew electricity when I felt it,
and it definitely was not the storm
I could not take my eyes from his face.

He came right up to me
grabbed my arm shouting "Let's go"
I felt no fear, and ran with him.

It was exhilarating and exciting
all at the same time.
I went with the flow of his movements.

He pulled me inside his cottage
and held me gently in his arms.
I felt safe and protected.

Then the rapture of the moment ended,
The storm was in full force
Was it in my mind or really happening?

He gently urged me to lay down with him
giving me a body massage to calm me down
I was completely surrendering to him.

The Storm was furious and pounding,
but he was gentle and compelling.
I was in ecstasy while in his eternity.


The dawn broke through,
and as I opened my eyes,
the stranger was not there.

Was this a dream?
Did I have such splendor
and final ecstasy for all eternity?
