Walking along the shore,
another day to savor once more,
I feel the waves cascading
gently between my toes.
Bringing refreshment and peace.
I am inspired to write what I feel.
Lifting my spirit's depression.
Hoping for a spiritual impression.
My soul is sleeping
darkness is slowly creeping
into the depths once again
I must stop this descent.
My soul is missing it's mate,
I am hoping it's not too late,
to feel a connection arrive,
so that my soul will again thrive.
There is a piece of a puzzle missing
the soul's passion for kissing.
To kiss with the lips so fair
is like a soul's lifting of despair.
The missing piece is the link
of the lip's healing drink,
that which bonds with the glue
of the soulmate so true .
