this morning, long before dawn, i held you
while whispering away your nagging fears
and imagining your skin smooth against mine
i held you in the timeless embrace of lovers
and warmly kissed away all your cold pain
you don’t know how beautiful you truly are
and to me, that is the vortex of your beauty
that elegant innocence, alive within your soul,
that calls to me with a melodious, gentle voice
until the world is filled with your sweet song
and my heart is filled with yearning for you
too soon dawn will break and you won’t know
the way i tenderly held you , made love to you
in the shadowed grayness of this early morning
you won’t know, unless you read these words
such sorry substitutes for lover’s hands and lips
but if you read them, you’ll forget to breathe
for a brief moment while the sensual sensation
of my heart brushing soft against yours becomes
more real than the loneliness of a gray morning
and whispers of love drown out voices of hatred
think of me sweet woman, send a kiss on the wind

So beautiful and sad, for although your words are beautiful, nothing is as grand as the human touch. I agree with Christine, you are unbelievably talented, and make your words come to life.
You are so gifted at being able to share your sweet words in a private communicate with the reader. This is so incredibly beautiful, and like Amber...tears came.
Blessings and windy kisses, Happy Holidays,
Christine
