behind that silk floral fan that speaks of
innocent youth? and those spiders, do you
think they will dissuade me from touching
inviting bare shoulder and round derrière?
nothing could frighten me away from you
though i believe you are T R O U B L E
and god help the man who thinks he can
even begin to out guess or out love you
child of darkness and light should i perhaps
shackle you in the depths of Poe’s wine cellar
where nevermore you will want another lover
or shall i whisper to you with the melting words
of Neruda, in praise of your naked beauty?
could i qualify as one of those pretty boys
you call friends? something tells me i might
leave but with you no man ever checks out
trouble meets trouble, should we even dare?
