Poem Artwork

Footprints in the wind,

Hot breath in cold air,

Proves that I’ve been here,

Proves that I’ve been there.

Words writ on water,

Portraits drawn in sand,

Dark eyes in shadows,

Dreamt in fairyland.

Ski marks left in snow,

My name etched on ice,

Teardrops in ocean,

Loaded is the dice.

Wing-beats of a dove,

Whispers in the wind,

Smoke up the chimney,

The Grim Reaper grinned.

Fingerprint in air,

Sighs in thunder-cloud,

Life that has been lived

Will be disallowed.

With the end in sight

No need to despair,

Life Force put me Here

And He’ll take me There.

Dear Peter

The rhythmn and the music of your poem is carrying me.
It's 0345h in the morning, not sleeping, tremendously
Like the wind, natural phenomenon, eeringly howling,
Resonating whole body, delighfully vibrating!

Thank you for this esthetical experience.

I wish I had read this for the first time at night. It would be perfect then. As it is, I am still changed for the better from reading it now.

That picture is very cool, love it. The images are strong in this, yet delicate at the same time, good balance and flow.
