The Dark Angels’ wings are unfurled and spread,

Casting deep-dark shadows over his head,

Into his grave to pursue.

The Goddess Fury rides out once again

Unleashing horror on “Holy Terrain.”

Will he live, or die The Jew?

Chased, persecuted through thousands of years,

Living with hatred, vile spittle and jeers,

He ran for his life breathless…

He’s been dubbed filthy, lousy, foul vermin,

By simple peasants and those robed in ermine,

By the vicious and gutless.

He’s been through fire, brimstone; his blood been spilled,

His mother, father, wife and children killed.

Not just once but million-fold…

Tired of running he was craving for rest

Looking for shelter, searching for a nest,

A peaceful home to behold.

Is there a place for him he could call home,

A space for respite, elusive “shalom”,

Or is he forever doomed?

Hated and despised wherever he lands,

The stark choices at last he understands:

Stand and fight or be consumed.

Judged coward running, vile foe if he fights,

Whatever he does a curse he ignites…

On this Earth there’s nothing new.

Crucified once… be crucified again,

For the rest of the world there’s much to gain…

Is that the fate of The Jew?

Used as battering ram between two foes,

Enticed and nudged on by sly bedfellows,

Dirty deeds he’s forced to do.

Yet he will be sold out undignified,

Once again forcefully be crucified

Just because he is The Jew.

Must the Angels of Darkness always win?

Must reason’s voice be lost in hateful din?

A ransom paid to the few?

Can the Man be saved and allowed to live

His most precious gifts for mankind to give?

…God have mercy on The Jew…

"The Dark Angels and The Jew" is a prime literary composition of poetic grand.

I feel sorrow for those that can't read the contents of a sentence, and for those that read words but fail to understand their meaning for lack of curiosity and for abundance of indifference.

“God” can not "have mercy on..." because "god" is just a salutation word... a contraction of “SALUTE TO ZEUS”.

Mother Poet ~Mother Nature~ has no chosen people... Mother Nature has people, and the people belong to humanity.

The TEUTONS made the word "god" in honor of Alexander, III, the HUMAN personification of ZEUS, who is also ODIN and TEUS and DEUS.

German: Grüss ODIN/Deus/Teus/

GRÜSS = Norse, Heil = Hail = SALUTE
Odin, Norse for Zeus.
Teus
Teus = Deus, Latin for ZEUS.

In English as of half of the eleventh century as:

Grüss
Odin and
Teus, and later as:

Grüss
Odin and or
Deus

Note: Until half of the elventh century the word in English was DEUS, Latin for ZEUS.

>>> IF ONE DOESN’T HAIL ZEUS ONE’S “I” AND “ME” PREVAIL.

Amen, Peter, may God have mercy, indeed. I pray for the peace of Jerusalem and for the Nation of Israel. A powerful piece, very well penned.

(((HUGS))) and love, Karla.

He was the victim until he became the murderer in Lebanon and Palestine
He had a home in Europe, Africa and Asia until he chose to occupy someone's else home and became the terrorist
he was persecuted in Europe and he made the Arabs pay the price for his persecution
The romans destroyed his temple and yet he wants to destroy the Muslim temple in revenge
The list goes on and on

I agree it seems the darkness is the winner so much of the time. But I do believe Creator said Jews are His chosen people and one day you will be vindicated. I firmly believe this, and many of us do, but the world is full of those who don't and it makes our voice seem like a whisper, that they shout down. Don't believe them, keep your faith! My prayer is for Israel and justice to prevail. Eileen
