Greetings from the Tyrol.

Poem Artwork

Crystals, mini-rainbows sparkle in the sky,

Small snowflakes on angel wings fall glide and fly,

The azure of the sky reflects on the snow,

Dressed in white ermine the mountains are aglow.

Caped in white hood the mountains so proudly stand,

Hugging white frizzy clouds that gently ascend.

The air is so clean and fresh, every breath bites,

Sun, white peaks, clouds and sky are the eye’s delights.

The branches of tall fir trees are hanging low,

Weighed down by frost and a thick cover of snow.

Between the white branches the sunrays fragment,

Refraction of light to the eyes to present.

My skis carve the soft snow, like spray the snow fly,

My heart beats faster, in my ears the wind cry.

Over the white velvet on ski-wings I dive,

Filled with awe and thrill I’m glad to be alive.
