Petals bathed in morning’s light Capturing nuances, reversing night Your shadow there below I stare Knowing the perfection there Sunburst Rose your bloom perfected Too soon your glow to fade Perhaps saved within pressed page Your essence will endure No matter, for today I’ve found My love so sweet, so pure
