How eloquently they wax Words dripping from pens freshly inked Romancing notions of greatness Spinning falsehoods into pseudo truths Mesmerizing the masses Obliviously accepting feel-good lies They prey on idealistic minds Secretly musing at their naivety Seeking never lasting control Living in denial of wrong doing Reveling in a power ever fading Forsaking salvation with every word And for what?
