...I write about you when we were one,
On street corners by time overcomed
Or spring's sool signs on window pane,
No trace of you and search gone in vain.
Distant memories claim
Cold case murders and empty names
And though time 1957 may pass
The same as seen in a looking glass...
Cry not, fear not O passage of time!
Tears, days, empty letters rhyme!
Spreading my avenging shadows vast
No sound, no word, no cry outlast!
When will we know
And love's feeling so fleeting so,
He took you in disguise, to harm you and me
Will this memory last or be set free?
If words die or a soulful sound
Its spirit forever on the time lingers around
Happily we spent a young life at will
Left now by faint and dying echo still
Come now, you have suffered enough...
