Tall oak tree Fallen, felled Splintered me Scattered, shelled Lightning raced Thunder roared Truth was faced Dark lies poured Cracked to core Split straight through Hit the floor Struck by you Tender pulp Gathered close Poignant gulp Comatose Wet with tears Pooled around Cried these years Silence sound Death, decay No remorse Bolt of love Changes course
