This is one of the most powerful pieces I've read in a long time. Honestly, Dawn, I can't even give you an intelligent critique -- it left me speechless. Great piece of work.
A heartwrenching poem , as is the problem of starving hurting children! Be concerned, help and pray if you can, but don't worry! Worry never helps anything...
Definitely a sad and heartfelt write. As long as we are receptive to children, we can quench the thirst, allow them to speak, stop them from bleeding and never let them sink. Great write.
