Happy Birthday, Sammie! Lucky seven now, little girl with the old soul and a heart of gold. Poised in her saddle she takes hold of the reins, riding gently into night. Purposeful intent reflected in eyes, sable brown like horse she mounts. Fierce, determined � still pretty in pink cowboy boots, she's pure innocence.

Most children don't know fear unless adults instill it into them. Innocence is the treasure I wished all could and would hang onto as long as possible.
