Dangerous:
risk of no love at all
for what is most real lands me here
a blind spinster begging before my time.
I fumble in dark tunnels that lead nowhere.
Strange passageways collect echoes
like beautiful young girls in love
gather kisses
Treacherous:
practiced ancient art of
surrender to stillness. Beware
of harsh truth revealed in contemplation.
Certain course better left unknown, in question.
Prisoner to haunted underworld,
bitter aftertaste of purest
love unreturned.
Perilous:
jaded lover’s journey.
World-weary, blinded by sting of
soul love’s piercing light, I fall and descend
further into land of never-ending dream.
“Please, just a touch, sir. Just a hug.”
Left alone, shivering again,
wondering why.

I can feel this deeply. Must be agonizing at times to long for just a touch, a hug, a kiss upon the cheek. Anything to help the lonliness and dread. I have been there. Bill

I hope this is not a real life situation because there's a sense of despair and sadness about this. Beautifully yet harshly expressed. A great combination
