There’s a hole in New York skyline—
something missing from our view.
Damage was done to the heart
of America, too.
In cavity of wounded soul,
questions reverberate. Yet,
Someone stands in the gap, fills
every chasm and crack.
God ferrets out surviving hope,
resurrects broken faith, and
floods every open heart with
restoration, grace, life.
Hope will not die so easily.
