The Circle of Life Ever Remains Unbroken
1. Bodies don't last forever, yet youth is eternal and constant.
An ever-changing state of being,
The circle of “childhood to childhood” ever remains unbroken.
That youth is eternal is a matter of seeing,
Let the lies of the world remain unspoken,
The truth of the Word is my reason for being.
Let the “circle of life” ever remain unbroken.
Chorus: I BELIEVE:
Let the lies of the world remain unspoken
The circle of life ever remains unbroken.
The Truth of the Word is your reason for being.
That youth is eternal is a matter of seeing.
2. Some people say, "You're young, so youth is all you know of age,"
"And when summer rests lightly upon your years,
Beware of autumn days coming, and winters of ripened rage."
But have they never heard Shelly's poem?
"If winter is here, can spring be far behind?"
Rage on gently, young poets and singers,
But “Cherish the Road of Peace” -
Every once-born loser will surely become a twice-born winner;
Every sage and genius that ever lived so true ,
Was once a true -blue sinner that turned the old into the new.
3. Youth seems to envy age and age envies youth;
Underneath the changing face of time
Remains the circle of life's unbroken truth -
"Every new beginning was made from some other end,
Every dying flower of winter’s graying hour,
in spring will surely be resurrected again."
It's no coincidence that Easter falls near the first of spring,
That when the crocus blooms, the birds sing -
We celebrate a resurrection of life over death,
And the circle of seasons is like the circling of our breath,
In and out and endlessly around again,
The world keeps turning round & round -
For true life is just a circle of youth to age and back again,
And death only a door - closing for a moment…
to open on new life and love.
For me there are just new beginnings,
And so, life can never end…
