YOU Choose the Title
By Kathy Armijo

The wind begins to swirl the dirt around my feet
Where will it take my little piece of earth?
Will it be a desert?  The shore?  Or, a place of death?
I know not where I will ultimately reside

My travel may be long or short
Yet, you'll never hear from me "Abort"
Will I be the foundation of something beautiful
Or mixed with something to weigh things down

Will I be added to fill a void
Or be that which makes you sink?
Will I sting your life?
Or will you simply say, "You've made my day"

This uneasiness in me
Of where I'll be
Makes me ponder
About my new home, yonder

Wherever I land
I know it will be grand
I will call this place HOME
Knowing I won’t ever be alone

Beautiful poetry and Steve's photo is superb. You are correct..."There is no place like home" Wherever that may be.

Such a sweet and soulful pondering. Perhaps "Pondering Home" would be a good title?

Uh, this could be Benazir Bhutto's words, but they aren't, they are yours . . . Throughout the history of mankind we have forever and always wondered if we make some iota of a difference in the scheme of it all . . . "What's it all about, Alfie?" is the rallying cry of we modern-day wonderers . . . Good . . .

Questions about life, the future can be so difficult to answer, bring along so many choices... or the feeling of having no choice. It really depends so much on one's state of mind.

I'm looking for a place I can finally call home... I wish you find yours.
