This Thanksgiving 　 This thanksgiving Remember those we love Remember those absent from our lives This thanksgiving Celebrate life Celebrate our good fortune This thanksgiving Keep the memories alive Keep forging forward – building new memories This thanksgiving Acknowledge our ancestors Acknowledge He who brings eternal life This thanksgiving Shower your love on family, friends, and all you meet Shower your abundance with those less fortunate 　 As I thought of all that I am thankful for, you [my fellow AD poets, readers and reviewers] rank among the highest. Each of you has given my life so much – your poems, your kindness, your love and your friendship. May this day be filled with God’s love and blessings and know that you are remembered in a very special way. © Kathy Armijo 11/26/09
