elegant and wise
she reminds me
she is color
the spectrum
of black light
she's indigo blue
and creative children
a purple passion
exciting enthusiasm
crimson red
her flames of desire
and the joy of being
are tinkled pink
and all the
mauves, wines, lavenders
cherry, cobalt, sapphire,
lilac, plum, and rubies
in between
she is nature alive
qualities of mother
loving, compassionate
emotions as wide
as her color spectrum
I can hear her saying
there, there child
everything is all right
