Poem Artwork

she danced with glass
sliding her hands
over the alters sphere
in rhythm consumed
her hips swayed
and beads rattled
in hypnotic motion
she breathed before water
diving into the blue temple
in dedication to the moon
radiance glistened upon
her breasts that heaved
with  elemental alchemy
desire began in her gasp
a softening welcome shaped
femininity and she moaned
interaction with synchronic lines
into mandalas of a thousand shells
precious multicolored jewels
of recurring sacred language
in tinkling tiffany techniques
evoking movement
her thighs became waves
to swim upon and stroke
the mother of pearl
circumscribed upon
the edges

artwork:  In Damanhur, Italy at the Temples of Humankind,
Located in the Blue Temple, between the altar and the floor –
is this glass window.

"The Temples of Humankind:  Imagine the reflections of
thousands of colors, light that dances on precious paintings
and luminous spheres. Intense perfumes of every kind, a
labyrinth of halls and corridors rich in sound, art and beauty.
the rediscovery of ancient knowledge and new, never
imagined horizons; that sense of the sacred that is the heritage
of every human being. The Temples of Humankind are a
pathway to the Divine inside and outside of the self, a path
towards contact with Forces that are collaborating in the
creation of a new future for Humanity."

I’ve become obsessed with the art of Damanhur, and I’m
finding expression in experiencing its beauty.  There is more
information about this evolved community in my article

Your words and the art speak of fulfillment and inner expansion, Debby. And who wouldn't become obsessed with such signposts to wholeness? Love the combination of the mathematical with the freely-flowing cursive, which speak of a total cohesion. "Tiffany techniques" suggest to me a floral kind of light... regenerative. Gentle and stimulating work as always. Kate xx
