exploring

Poem Artwork

it came to me to spin around

a twirl perhaps but not so much a dance

just the revolving movement

around and around

 

i thought the scenery would change

i’d find myself in some land of oz

or at minimum something recognizable

one of those landscapes i’d previously

explored, where you swear you’d

been a thousand times and knew it like

you lived next door, and yet in the waking world 

never existed

 

i spun myself all right...right beyond the room

in less than a blink, i was above the earth

and into a massive circular formation

could have been a hurricane but there was no wind

nor turbulence, just expansion

 

incredible expansion, i was the cloud, the air, the wind

completely merged, engaged, and part of the atmosphere

i remember thinking, i should be thinking, but there was

no thinking, only being

 

no consequence, no  concern, nor awareness of anything

upon the earth that might be happening beneath these clouds

my human existence seemed non existent, until of course,

i woke up and remembered i was just dreaming

Amazing isn't it the varied dreams we can have,especially like this one that seemed empty,yet the nothingness in itself,is something to ponder!;-) Splendid descriptions, Debby!

I think sometimes it is hard to know whether we are coming or going. But this shows it doesn't matter, we are doing both at the same time....lol

Nice Debby...to see beyond the physical is to wish for more than dreams, we who can elevate, or meditate where there is only the Universal know of those elements that are waiting for us...beyond this world...
