Who Shall Sing, When Man is Gone is a collection of poems built
around the title poem, which is an epic dedicated to nuclear war under
the premise that if such a war ever occurred, it would be worthy in its
own way of a Homeric epic, only there would be no one around to write
it.
In addition to this epic poem, there are many poems long and short that examine life and death, society and its cruelties and benefits, nature, and love. Quite a few poems are devoted to philosophy and quiet meditations.

So Far Away
Fading out in dappled shades
Of sunlight and of shadowed grey,
Evening passes into night.
Time is gone and who can say
It ever was, as one more day
Passes from our sight.
As darkness falls upon the sea
Cold stars shine so wild and free
And far away.
Their glimmer lights the darkened dells
And glistens on the white foamed swells
And glows within the smooth sea shells
So far away,
So far away.
Using Calgary as a backdrop the author satirizes the self-serving nature of the public as it continues to fatten itself, not only physically, but egotistically as well.
