For me, this is the perfect metaphor for life. At 35, I can count the 'sunny moments' on one hand. I like the artistic format in this poem. A great poem, Dawn.

I love the lightness of this poem and it's message too. I wrote a poem last year called "Faithful Disciple" about spending an afternoon with my dachshund Claudius in my backyard. You should go read it. See if you see the similarity in messages captured in the final line. Great work.
A very artistic poetic picture. Meditation is GREAT and we (Americans) have much to learn from the eastern world. My most relaxing times are when I took yoga classes in England and when I practiced meditation in Japan. However, I was once in a corpse position and it took a long time for my partner to wake me up. She was a bit frightened by this so I backed off from that practice for a while. Well, I can always start again! Thanks for the refresher!
