No one sees
No one knows the “me” I am
When I am alone
I close my eyes and
I fly away to the place
I’d rather be today
No one special, no one’s mother
No one’s sister, no one’s lover
I stand alone in the rain
The water like cold needles
Piercing my skin
Each drop more intense than the last
Each one making me
Feel alive, so sensual
Hard drops, making my skin
Feel so aware of my body
The air makes me cold
But that is not bad
Because the heat from within
Makes me warm in my own skin
Each drop like a lover’s touch
Makes me moan
Each drop like a kiss
I feel to my bones
Oh how erotic the sensation
Of feeling the pleasure
Of the rain

Damn! Warming up the joint, my friend. That photo didn't help. Have mercy.
I really enjoyed the poem. It just took off like it had been shot from your fingers onto the keyboard like something possessed. Excellent!
