Money can be the root of all evil, if
it is ALL you love!!
I have often hear this phrase
“For love of money”
But never stopped to think
Just how many things
This simple phrase
Can encompass
Like:
Politicians
Lawyers
Judges and such
Men “of God”
And women

And what about
Those who will sell
Their souls
Just to get ahead
For celebrity
And so we will
Remember them
When they are dead?
I just want you
To know the real me
A daughter, a wife, a mother
But most of all
Remember the friend
That does not care
About the love of money
