With Christmas comes a time of soulful Joy
to celebrate the Holy Birth of Christ.
Many decorations throughout town
lighten and then brighten faces
of the young and the old alike;
excitement spreads about the land.

 Frost and snow blankets the land,
carols are sung to spread the joy,
voices raised with breath and soul alike,
remembering the birth of  Christ,
causing smiles of love to many faces
of those briskly walking about town.

Trees, lights appear all over the town
bringing warmth and gladness to the land
especially to children’s happy faces.
Wrappings, ribbons tied with joy
gifts given in honor of the Child Christ,
He, the One Gift given to poor and wealthy alike.

If we see good in all of man, alike,
goodness in both right and wrong side of town
we will have honored the birth of Christ
and helped spread peace across the land.
What better gift than that of Holy Joy,
that brings sparkle to eyes and smiles to faces.

If we look with glee at all the faces,
those that look like us and not alike,
just maybe we can spread the joy
throughout each and every town,
across the world and every land
supporting the reason we celebrate Christ.

This IS the season of the Birth of Christ;
let Him be viewed in all the faces
no matter what country, what land.
For He views us one and all alike
as He saw those in the Bethlehem town,
as He brought to all the world a Glorious Joy.

Know that Christ loves all peoples alike,
and when mankind faces wrongs in their town,
then in every land His gift will be Peace and Joy.
